Affordable Care Act – Educational Program

Beginning in 2014, ChamberCARE and other group health care options will change due to implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce wants to make sure that our small business members are aware of the changes and how they will affect your company and employees.
Given open enrollment for new ACA plans begins Oct. 1, 2013, we are hosting a free educational program:

Cost: Free for Members, $10 for Non-Members
Experts from the QTI Group, a firm specializing in human resources, will provide information and answer your questions. They have been closely tracking ACA offerings and regulations and will explain:
- Small group health plan reform
- Required health care plan limits
- Federal health care exchange notices
- Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Exchange options for individuals and small employers
- Preferred Employer Organization (PEO) options
- How to purchase a group health insurance plan outside the exchange
- What happens if your company drops a group health insurance plan it currently offers
