Behind the Business: UW Simulation Lab

September 25, 2012 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

One of the most challenging aspects of training health professionals is providing robust and realistic learning opportunities. The new UW Health Clinical Simulation Program is at the forefront of simulation technology and education practices. The program provides educational and assessment opportunities for students, faculty, nurses and staff. Robotic “manikins” simulate trauma situations to allow practice, assessment and training in a realistic, yet educational environment. Get a firsthand look at this amazing technology (and see if you can catch one of them blinking!)
