Join us at the NEW Madison Public Library for this month’s Big Night Out Event.
Enjoy casual conversation with other business people and a walking tour of the new facility. The Big Night Out is the premier networking event for business professionals in the area.
Madison Public Library’s new Central Library opened its doors to the public on September 21, 2013, with a record number of 6,032 visitors on the first weekend. Under construction for nearly two years, the new library offers five floors of public space, an abundance of natural light and comfortable seating, and works created by local and nationally-known artists. A new 250-person community room on the third floor is adjacent to an art gallery, a casual seating area, and the library’s green roof and outdoor terrace, and the entire third floor can be rented for special events. Transformed from a basement into a vibrant community space, the new children’s area encompasses 10,000 square feet and is packed with learning experiences from easy access to books and materials, to an iPad bar with child friendly learning apps and games, to activity stations and quiet reading areas for children.
