DeWitt Welcomes Two Associate Attorneys to the Firm
Today DeWitt LLP law firm announced the addition of two associate attorneys to the firm’s Green Bay and Minneapolis offices.
Maxwell R. Krenke will support DeWitt’s Business, Banking and Real Estate practice areas in the Green Bay office. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and a B.S., with honors, from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. While studying at Marquette University Law School he clerked with the Marquette University Office of General Counsel, volunteered at the Marquette Legal Clinic and was a leader in the Academic Success Program. Additionally, he interned at the Milwaukee County Courthouse as a claims mediator. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.
Mitchell D. Sullivan will support the Business, Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate practice areas in the Minneapolis office. His clients have included businesses from industries such as construction, medical, manufacturing, technology, insurance, restaurant, and professional services. He has participated in multiple 100 to 150 million-dollar transactions in mergers & acquisitions. Sullivan earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. from Concordia College. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota.

Capitol Bank Announces David Robbins as Market President at Future East Madison Location
Madison, WI (July 7, 2021): Ken Thompson, President and CEO of Capitol Bank, is pleased to welcome David Robbins, Market President of Capitol Bank East. David has 16 years of banking experience in a variety of roles including retail, branch management and commercial lending. David holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and completed Graduate School of Banking in 2019.
“David’s leadership experience and diverse banking background will help grow our Dane County presence as we open our East Madison location in late 2021,” said Thompson.
David resides in the Madison area with his wife and children. He enjoys coaching youth sports, spending time outdoors, golfing and traveling.

Gomez Joins MDC as VP of Lending & Investments
Madison, WI – July 7, 2021, Madison Development Corporation (MDC), a non-profit organization serving the residents and businesses of Dane County since 1977, announces the appointment of Juan Gomez as Vice President of Lending & Investments. As a key member of MDC’s Executive Management Team, Gomez will oversee the Lending & Investments Division for MDC.
Prior to joining MDC, Gomez served as Technology Investment Manager at Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and as a Capital Finance Officer with the State’s Department of Administration. He has extensive experience in economic development, public finance, and real estate. Juan holds an M.B.A. in Finance and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
“We are excited to have Gomez join our team,” said Lorrie Keating Heinemann, MDC’s President & CEO. “His experience working with and lending to entrepreneurs and startups will be a great fit for MDC.”
