Joey’s Song benefit concert becoming 4-day music festival
Joey’s Song is turning its annual Madison benefit concert into a four-day music festival called FreezingMan.
The festival, like the yearly shows, will feature Know-It-All Boyfriends, which includes Butch Vig from the band Garbage.
FreezingMan will be held Jan. 8-11 at The Sylvee and the Majestic Theatre. Tickets are on sale now. The benefit concert has always sold out, organizers said. General admission tickets cost $32.50 to $50 per show.
Other artists include Portugal. The Man, Kenny Hoopla, Letters to Cleo, and Silversun Pickups. Members of Cheap Trick, the Bangles and The Go-Go’s also are scheduled to perform.
The festival will culminate with “The Big Show,” where about 50 musicians are expected to take the stage together at The Sylvee.
