Mark Koehl Elected to Capitol Bank’s Board of Directors

Madison, WI: Ken Thompson, President and CEO of Capitol Bank, is pleased to announce the election of Mark Koehl to the Board of Directors at Capitol Bank. Mark accepted the position in June and will serve a three-year term. Mark retired from Wipfli LLP on May 31, 2019, after 39 years of service, 28 of which he was a partner of the firm. During his career, he specialized in working with community banks in various Wisconsin markets. Mark has been involved on many community boards throughout his career, including his current position on the United Way of Dane County Board of Directors. He is a graduate of UW – Stevens Point and has been a CPA since 1980.

“Mark’s strong knowledge of the banking industry will be a valuable asset as our Board continues to navigate future strategic initiatives,” said Thompson.

Mark is a native of Stevens Point and currently lives in the Madison area. He has been married to his wife, Jean, for 40 years. They have three children and three grandchildren.
